Silence is a golden rule for the success of your visit.
The parks open from Easter to the end of September.
However, the best period for observation is
from early July to the end of September (at dawn and twilight).
The aquatic and migratory fauna, as well as the woods and plains one,
because of their biological cycle, are easier to see on this period (After the births in May and June).

The Park is ideally located at 60 km in the north of Bordeaux, 70 km in the east of Royan,
50 km in the south of Cognac, and 50 km in the west of Périgueux. The park is easily accessible and the way is arrowed.

To make the observation easier at dawn, you may sleep and have dinner on the spot the day before.
